I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it when people value documenting their lives, and capturing moments they know they will never get back. This gorgeous family came down TWICE from Lancaster all the way to my studio in Santa Clarita. Once for maternity pictures and then after their beautiful son was born. Not only did they value documenting this time in their lives they were 100% on board with driving to the photographer they trusted and whose work they were a fan of. Even if I was 50 miles away! Now that is commitment and I absolutely LOVE that. And then when grandma showed up with mom to the session I just KNEW I had to get a portrait of Liam and his grandma and I have to say I really want ALL the grandparents at my sessions from now on! It’s just such a beautiful and tender moment. I just love it!
