Santa Clarita Newborn Family Feature – The Adachi Family

Today, for Family Feature Friday. I share with you the Adachi family. This is seriously the sweetest family EVER. I had such a wonderful time with this fun-loving family as their Santa Clarita newborn and maternity photographer, and have been so excited to share some of the images! Both mom and dad have a passion for education. Having a heart of service is something so special, and it was amazing to get to know these two kind-hearted and caring souls better (I have known Briana, since elementray school!). It’s people like Skyler and Landen’s parents that inspire me to go out of my way to show acts of kindness to others. Their children are so blessed to have them as role models!

Hello! My name is Brianna Adachi and I am married to my husband Sean Adachi. I have a ten-year-old step-son, Landen, and Sean and I have a daughter, Skyler, who was born earlier this year. Sean and I met four years ago through mutual friends and it has been a great adventure ever since. Sean and I feel in love over our mutual love for anything Disney, joy of watching movies, and our experience in education. We enjoy the little things in life and love our little family!

What session did you book with me? How was your experience of our time together? How would you describe it to friends or family?

When I found out I was pregnant, I reached out to Corinna Schutz to book both a maternity session and a newborn session. From the second we started communicating you can tell that Corrina loves what she does. She was interested in getting to know me and my family on a personal level so that she could capture who we are. My maternity session was outside. Corinna made all of us feel comfortable and made sure we were having fun. Even my step-son, who doesn’t always enjoy taking pictures, had a smile on his face. She was also very considerate of the fact that Landen was my step-son and was not comfortable doing some of the more intimate mother/son pictures. She was very respectful and considerate of our family dynamic. Corinna was efficient and had a plan of what she wanted to do during the session so she was able to get beautiful shots in a short amount of time… I also loved how Corinna provided one of my outfits, as well as props. I also booked a newborn session with Corinna Schultz Photography. Corinna was very flexible with her schedule as I had to reschedule because Skyler was a over a week late. Other than Skyler’s first doctor apt, this was our very first outing. As a new mommy you worry about everything. Corinna made my and my family feel so comfortable and relaxed in her home. When we got to our session, Corinna had everything already set up and ready to go. She had previously asked me about Skyler’s bedroom colors so that she could take pictures that would match her room. Corinna put all my worry at ease when I saw how great she was with five day old little Skyler. She was patient, gentle and you can tell she just absolutely loves what she does. Our little Sky decided not to sleep for her newborn session. Corinna was more than patient rocking her to sleep and taking breaks for me to feed her.

Why did you decide to invest in family or newborn photography?

I decided to invest in maternity and newborn photography because I wanted beautiful pictures to capture this magical time in my life. I will now always have amazing pictures of this time during my life to look back at and share with family and friends.
