As a small business owner, I am BIG on supporting the local mom and pop shops in Santa Clarita. And, with Amazon on the rise, I will go out of my way to drive ALL the way across Santa Clarita to shop with the brick and mortar shops to show my support.

This is such an important thing to me because having local places to buy our goods is what keeps our local economy thriving and storefronts beautiful! But, the most important thing for me is supporting other local moms who are working hard to run small businesses here in Santa Clarita. #MomBoss

To honor them, and to celebrate Mother’s Day with all of my local mom’s out there, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite places to shop locally and support my fellow #MomBosses. Here’s to you, ladies!

Local SCV resident, self-proclaimed “bad mom” (which she’s not, she an amazing mother, she

just has a super fun style!) and taco connoisseur Renee, is the owner of this super fun and

unique boutique. You can purchase everything from clothes, amber necklaces, cloth diapers,

and baby carriers! It’s a one stop shop for all things baby!

Her main shop is located in Sherman Oaks, BUT will be opening another SCV location soon, as well as a small satellite space in my studio in the next few weeks! You can even shop online, just like Amazon…but you are supporting a local mom boss!

This super fit, gorgeous mamma Laura is obsessed with all things health and nutrition. Like many of us, she’s striving to do what’s best for her family. She decided to start her own nursing activewear company when she was breastfeeding her little and found there were literally NO options for activewear for her. What could be a better business opportunity for her than to meld her two passions: being active and being a mom?
